Sure - To make the best use of the time, it's a good idea to arrive ready-to-shoot. However please feel free to bring a H&M artist with you; just let me know in advance, so we can factor that time in.

If you have an audition or you are unwell, please give me as much notice as possible so I'm able to offer the time to someone else. You will not lose your deposit so long as I've had 48 hours notice. We'll simply reschedule the date. If you'd prefer to cancel the session rather than reschedule, then your deposit will be returned, again, so long as I've had 48 hours notice. No shows will be asked to pay 50% of the session fee, so please get in touch if you are unable to come.

I often say that it's best to wear no-distracting clothing, so we can keep the attention on your face. However this isn't always the case; a texture, pattern or style of clothing can often be used to show your personality or help accentuate a particular look. A safe bet would be to bring a good range of clothing with you on the day, ready to wear so we can discuss options. Some quick suggestions: Things like polo necks / high neckline tops are a nice to have, as they draw the gaze to your face. Textures work nicely; whether that's a herringbone jacket or a thick knit jumper. Don't be afraid to bring quirky choices; whether that's a jazzy jacket or a full denim jumpsuit - clothing choice can throw out some great creative opportunities.

As a rule, turnaround is within 7 days, however it is often a lot sooner than that. If I don't have a double booking then I'll generally begin editing photos in the afternoon of the shoot, with turnaround within 48 hours. Depending on the diary, express turnaround may also be an option - please get in touch to discuss this if it is a requirement.

Having another person in the studio while we shoot can be a distraction. It's often easier to warm up with a stranger (me) than it is knowing you're being watched by a friend / partner. That being said, you are more than welcome to bring someone with you. There is space in the studio for them to put their feet up.

My studio is in Shrewsbury town centre. It's a relaxed space, with room to sit and chill, a washroom, makeup station, and nearby parking. I generally shoot all my headshots here, however if you'd like to discuss a location shoot then get in touch.

I try to stick to morning shoots starting 9:30-10:30ish. You will be looking your best, and it also gives us the option to continue into the afternoon, should we need to, or make a start on the edits.

No. I like to run through all of raw the photos with you at the end of the session, where we can pick out the ones we like. If there is no time for this then I'll send you a digital contact sheet so you can choose from there. However only retouched images will be sent for your use.
