What THI really is
THI is not an agency. It’s me, working closely with clients and helping where I’m most useful.
Sometimes that means a full website. Sometimes it means sharpening up branding, improving SEO, planning content, or creating photography that feels more distinctive and useful.
A lot of the work ends up being connected. That’s part of what I enjoy, and part of what clients seem to find helpful too.
How I got here
THI didn't appear out of nowhere. My background runs through design, marketing, hospitality, brand and digital work, which is probably why I tend to look at projects as a whole rather than in silos.
Over time, that all naturally pulled together into freelance work that blends design, SEO, content and photography.
2003-09
Design and visual communication
Studied multimedia design, then design for advertising, building a foundation in branding, design and marketing.
2008-14
Agency and in-house design
Worked across print, web, branding and commercial design, managing a wide range of client work and learning how creative ideas have to function in the real world.
2014-21
Hospitality, digital and brand-side experience
Moved deeper into website design, digital presence, brand development and marketing, including senior design and brand-focused roles in the hospitality sector.
2020-22
Product, UI and contract work
Took on a mix of contract and freelance projects across UI, UX, web design and digital improvement work, sharpening the practical side of how websites and products need to work.
2021 onwards
THI takes shape
Freelance work became the main focus, bringing web design, graphic design, SEO, content and photography together under one roof.
Today
Joined-up freelance support
That mix is still what defines THI now: clear creative work, stronger websites, useful content, and practical support.
Where I'm most useful
A lot of people come to me when something is not quite working: a website feels dated, branding is inconsistent, content is not pulling its weight, or the business just needs a clearer way to present itself.
That is usually where I’m most useful. Looking at what is already there, working out what needs improving, and helping bring it all together in a way that feels clearer, stronger and easier to manage.
